From its distinctive winery in the Barossa Valley, Chateau Yaldara has been making tawnies and red wines for almost seventy years. The brief for the reawakening of the Yaldara brand, intended for the international market, was clear from outset: The established Barossa heritage and brand icon of the original Hermann Thumm chateau would be retained as the focal point of the Collection, but the new look and feel of the branding as a whole, had to convey the quality of the wine within. The Yaldara Collection is fairly expansive, so the choice of appropriate design cues to differentiate between the price points was essential.

‘It was integral to the reinvention of the Yaldara Collection that the packaging communicated the pedigree of the new wine range and its positioning in the market place. The ease of the design process and the quality of the end result exceeded all our expectations.’
